Designed to meet Australia’s demanding sun protection standards, our Cancer Council range includes the following product categories thoughtfully created and designed for everyone under the sun.
Cancer Council hats are designed with closely woven fabric, so UV doesn’t get through. They’re independently tested for a maximum UPF50+ rating and have brims of at least 8cm for ultimate sun protection for your face, neck, head and ears. We have over 200 styles available.
Cancer Council sunglasses have an eye protection factor of 10 – the maximum protection (category 3 lenses). They’re fitted with polarised lenses and eliminate 100% of horizontally reflected glare. They also conform to Australian Standard AS1067:2016. We have over 200 styles to choose from.
Cancer Council apparel and swimwear range is made from durable, quick-drying, close-weave materials such as cotton, polyester or linen. Our swimwear is exclusively designed in Australia and is chlorine resistant, made from long-lasting materials which stay sun protective when wet. Cancer Council apparel and swimwear conforms to Australian Standard AS4399:2017. Everything in our range has a maximum UPF50+ rating.
Cancer Council umbrellas, cabanas and shelters have a UPF50+ rating and are extremely durable. The umbrellas are suitable for both rain and sun conditions. When using on the beach we still recommend wearing sunglasses, long sleeve clothing and sunscreen as UV can bounce off the sand.
Cancer Council broad-spectrum sunscreens are rated between SPF30 and SPF50+ and are available in a range of innovative formulations and packaging to suit every lifestyle. All our sunscreens are made in Australia and are tested to make sure they meet their SPF and water resistance claims.
